Tanzania lures French investment to boost its agricultural sector

DODOMA: TANZANIA’S Ambassador to France, Ali Mwadin,i has called upon investors from France to take advantage of the various investment opportunities found in the agricultural sector and invest in the country.

The ambassador made the statement during his visit to the 2025 Nanenane International Agricultural Exhibition held in Dodoma, where he visited the Tanzania Agricultural Research Institute (TARI) pavilion.

While at the exhibition grounds, Ambassador Mwadini toured various exhibition pavilions and was impressed by the progress in the Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries sectors in the country.

He emphasized that cooperation between Tanzania and France in the agricultural sector will bring significant development to both countries, especially in areas such as agricultural technology, research, and agricultural value chains.

The exhibition serves as a vital platform for showcasing achievements in the Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries sectors, as well as providing education to farmers, livestock keepers, fishers, and investors about available technologies and opportunities in various sectors across Tanzania.
