Tanzania, Kenya agree to deepen ties in trade, agriculture, sports

DAR ES SALAAM: TANZANIA and Kenya have agreed to deepen the relationship between them, especially in the areas of trade, investment, agriculture, and sports.

The agreement was made in a discussion between Tanzania’s Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Ambassador Samwel Shelukindo with the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation responsible for East African Affairs, Ambassador Stephen Mbundi, with Kenya’s  Ambassador to Tanzania, Isaac Njenga, in Dar es Salaam.

According to information from the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, both sides saw the need to strengthen the historic and fraternal cooperation between them.

Moreover, they also agreed to continue working closely together to maintain the good relations between the two countries for the benefit of the residents of both countries.
