Tanzania hails its envoys in Nepal, Mumbai, Kolkata for promoting tourism

NEWS DELHI: Tanzania’s Deputy Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Dr Ngwaru Maghembe, has met and held discussions with Tanzanian honourary representatives based in Nepal, Mumbai, Chennai, and Kolkata during his official visit to India.
The talks focused on engaging the representatives in efforts to strengthen the tourism, agriculture, education, trade, and investment sectors, in line with Tanzania’s vision of economic diplomacy.
Speaking at the meeting in New Delhi, Dr Maghembe commended the representatives for effectively promoting Tanzania in their respective areas and emphasized that the government values their contribution and will continue to work closely with them.

On their part, the representatives Rajesh Chaudhary of Nepal, Nayan Patel of Mumbai, Krishna Pimple of Chennai, and Pradeep Singhania of Kolkata thanked the Deputy Minister for taking the time to meet them.
They pledged to continue representing Tanzania effectively, particularly in promoting the country’s opportunities in tourism, trade, and investment.
Dr Maghembe, who is in India for an official visit and to participate in the Raisina Dialogue Forum, attended the meeting alongside Tanzania’s Ambassador to India, Anisa Mbega, and Felista Rugambwa, Director of the Asia and Australasia Department at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation.
