“He is a fast and good boxer. I did my homework well. It’s interesting that he was too confident to brag that he would teach me how to box. I did my best and I bested him,” he said.
On his part, Mahlangu noted it was a good fight but pressed he wants a rematch. On the same boxing night renowned pugilist Ibrahim Class was crowned TPBRC Tanzania Boxing Champion after outclassing Xiao Tau Su of China on point.

In his brief remarks after exchanging heavy blows, Class admitted that his Chinese counterpart was tough but because of his experience, he sealed a victory.
“I have been in this game for a long time and I know what to do. Of course, it was not an easy match,” he said.
