Taifa Stars ready for second leg encounter against Uganda’s Cranes 

Taifa Stars are ready for the showdown as they face Uganda in an important African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifiers at St Mary’s Stadium in Uganda today.
It is the second leg of the qualifiers meaning that the overall winner books a ticket to represent their country at 2023 CHAN finals scheduled in January in Algeria.
The country’s envoys are trailing 1-0 after stamping defeat in the first leg battle at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam as such, it is a make or break fixture for them.
Star’s skipper Aishi Manula is confident that they are fully polished and ready to record good results which will seal their qualification.
Also, Assistant Coach Mecky Mexime insists that in football, anything can happen such that if Uganda managed to win here, they can too shine at their backyard.
Morocco are the current defending champions of CHAN and together with DR Congo, they are the most successful teams in the contest as each has clinched it twice.
As such, if Morocco manage to successfully defend it, then they will make a record of winning the trophy three-times in a row.
