Stanbic commits to support SMEs with tech solutions

STANBIC Bank Tanzania has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting small and medium-sized entrepreneurs by providing tailored solutions that will meet their needs and address the challenges that they are currently facing in unlocking investment opportunities in the country and beyond.
The commitment was made by Stanbic Bank Head of Incubator, Kai Mollel during the 6th Annual Economic Empowerment Forum themed ‘Empowerment of Tanzanians in Investments’ that took place on Monday in Dodoma, for which the bank was the main sponsor.
“We would like to assure the government, businessmen, entrepreneurs and all development stakeholders that we as a bank will continue to cooperate with you in driving our country’s development,” she said.
She further applauded NEEC for preparing the forum noting that the bank was excited to be part of conversations that will spur local contribution to investment initiatives (Local content).
Stanbic is on a journey of empowering SMEs and has recently entered into a partnership with the NEEC to implement a Supplier Development Programme where SMEs will be trained and provided with tools to enable them to utilise the country’s investment opportunities and increase their regional and global competitiveness.
