Sports, Culture, arts welcome Ndumbaro

GOLFER and multi-sport stakeholder, Damas Ndumbaro will serve the Ministry of Culture, Arts and Sports as its minister at the country’s bid to develop sports and arts rage on.

Early yesterday, President Samia Suluhu Hassan announced changes in her cabinet when she  appointed Ndumbaro as the minister, the position previously held by Pindi China.

Following the changes, Pindi Chana now becomes the Minister for Constitution and Legal Affairs.

Damas Ndumbaro, an experienced politician, has taken on this role with a background in both legal and sports matters.

Prior to this appointment, Ndumbaro also served several committees at the club and federation levels and he has previously worked as a lawyer handling various sports-related issues.

These changes come at a time when sports-related matters hold significant importance in society and the country as a whole. Ndumbaro will face challenges in ensuring that the sports, arts, and culture sector continues to contribute to the nation’s development and brings benefits to the community.
