Singida test arsenal vs AS Vita today

ALL is set as Singida Fountain Gate test their next season’s arsenal against AS Vita in an international friendly match. This is to spice up Singida’s Big Day at Liti Stadium in Singida today.

The game proceeds with several entertaining activities lined up for club fans across the country.

In addition, it introduces the entire squad and technical team members ready to navigate the club next term.

In his remarks yesterday, the club’s Information Officer Hussein Masanza disclosed that everything is in place for the big day. He called on people to come in large numbers and be part of the experience.

“We have queued up a lot of events to decorate the day including the big match against AS Vita. This will help the technical bench screen the team ahead of next season,” he said.

According to him, Bongo Flava heroine  Nandy is among those tasked with entertaining the audience that descends on the venue to celebrate the day.

He also disclosed that Minister for Culture, Arts, and Sports Pindi Chana is expected to be the guest of honour on the big day and as such, nobody should plan to miss it.

Under Hans Van Pluijm, the team is eager to record convincing results next season, and most importantly, win titles.

However, the Singida-based side will face a tough assignment versus Simba in the Community Shield. This will be played at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga on August 10th.

The winner will go head to head against either Young Africans or Azam in the finals of the competition, allowing them to begin the 2023/24 campaign with silverware in their cupboard.

In the first preliminary round of the CAF Confederation Cup, Fountain Gate will face JKU of Zanzibar and whoever wins the two-legged fixture books a duel versus Future FC of Egypt before jumping into the group stage.

If they make it to the last 16, it will be a notable feat for the entire country as they aim high to proudly wave the national flag.
