Singida FG squad leave for CAF clash against Future
DAR ES SALAAM : A 23-man Singida Fountain Gate squad departed the country on Tuesday afternoon en-route to Cairo, Egypt ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup (CAF CC) match versus Future FC.
The return leg is pegged at Al-Salam Stadium located in Cairo on Sunday where the aggregate winner in two matches progress to the group stage.
However, the country’s solo envoys in the contest head for the clash with an advantage after picking a slender 1-0 win in the first leg match at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam.
On the day, Elvis Rupia scored on his debut match for the Singida based outfits he is adamant to do the same on Sunday.
The full list of the deployed team comprises the following: Goalkeepers Beno Kakolanya, Benedict Haule and Ibrahim Rashid.
Defenders: Laurian Makame, Biemes Carno, Hamad Waziri, Kelvin Kijiri, Yahaya Mbegu, Gadiel Michael and Mukrin Issa.
Midfielders: Morice Chukwu, Aziz Andabwile, Yusuph Kagoma, Deus Kaseke, Dickson Ambundo, Duke Abuya, Bruno Gomes and Nicolas Gyan.
Strikers: Meddie Kagere, Elvis Rupia, Francy Kazadi, Thomas Ulimwengu and Marouf Tchakei.
