Singida Big Stars held by visitors Dodoma Jiji

Singida Big Stars have missed the opportunity to top the NBC Premier League table after being held to a goalles draw by Dodoma Jiji at Liti Stadium in Singida.

A win by Singida Big Stars could have drove them to the summit of the log with nine points in the bag, but that has not been materialised.

As such, the Singida giants have collected seven points from three league assignments similar to giants Simba and Young Africans whose previous matches also eclipsed in draw.

For Dodoma Jiji, it was their first game to register a draw after going through a win-less run in their opening two fixtures of the unfolding campaign.

It has been a poor start for Masoud Juma’s side but they still have enough time to regroup themselves and begin producing tangible fruits before it comes too late to wake up.

In the upcoming fourth round, Singida Big Stars will face Geita Gold in the former’s first match of the season to play outside their backyard after hosting all their three games at home.

On the other hand, Dodoma Jiji will be away at CCM Kirumba Stadium in Mwanza battling against Kagera Sugar.
