Simba see off TMA Stars to seal last 16 spot

DAR ES SALAAM: SIMBA roared to the best 16 stage of the CRDB Federation Cup following their hefty 4-0 victory over TMA Stars in a one-sided match staged at KMC Stadium in the city this evening.

Simba’s determination to reward their fans with a big win paid off in the 17th minute when Valentino Norma netted his team’s opener.

TMA began the second half a rejuvenated side as they managed to hold for almost half an hour before Lionel Ateba made a breakthrough.

Ateba netted Simba’s third goal in the 75th minute with a brilliant finish.

Simba continued to raid TMA’s goal in their attempt to add more goals.

Ateba could score his team’s fourth goal in the dying minutes, but he miraculously missed that golden chance.

Simba maintained their form to finish the game with a sweet 3-0 victory.
