TANZANIA, Dar es Salaam A star studded Simba have registered a 2-0 win over Power Dynamos of Zambia.
The game at Benjamin Mkapa Stadium on Sunday evening has wrapped up the club’s 15th Simba Day anniversary.
New comers Willy Onana and Fabrice Ngoma netted in each half to give their fans at a fully packed venue what they wanted to see.
Just in the 5th minute, Onana’s powerful long range strike drove the Reds upfront before midfield maestro Ngoma sealing the deal in the 75th minute.
It is a befitting results to all Simba fans who have had a chance to see what their side is capable to achieve.
“I am satisfied with the outcome though we still need enough time to build a strong team,” says Simba coach Roberto Oliveira after the match.
His counterpart for Power Dynamos Mwenya Chipepo says they have learnt a lot from an experienced side.
