DAR ES SALAAM: Simba SC have reached mutual agreement to part company with Brazilian coach Roberto Oliveira.
Also, the club has terminated the contract of physical coach Corneille Hategekimama.
The club’s information on its verified Instagram account on Tuesday reads: “The management of Simba thanks the coaches for their contributions in our club and wishes them the best of luck in their new endeavors.”
It further says “through this transition period, the team will be under the tutelage of Coach Daniel Cadena who will be assisted by Coach Seleman Matola.
“Procedures to get new coaches have begun and are expected to be completed soon,” reads part of the information.
However, Oliveira leaves Simba barely one day after guiding the team to a humiliating 5-1 defeat from Young Africans in the traditional derby match.
It was his first Premier League defeat on Tanzania soil and the first nosedive for Simba this season.
