Simba SC pardon ‘defiant’ Chama

DAR ES SALAAM: The management of Simba SC has pardoned the Msimbazi base club’s player Clatous Chama.

A statement issued on Friday morning and being shared on the club’s official social media accounts states that the decision to pardon him has been reached by the Technical Committee.

It says the committee keenly reviewed a letter submitted by Chama and that the team’s coach Abdelhak Benchikha has also conceded to pardon the midfielder.

“As such, the Technical Committee of Simba Board has nodded to forgive him hence he will not be taken to the Disciplinary Committee of the club,” reads part of the statement.It further clarifies that Chama will join his teammates in Kigoma for their Premier League match versus Mashujaa on Saturday.

“Simba will continue to respect discipline as a fundamental to build a strong team. Discipline is one of Simba values,” it insists.
