Simba SC let Okra go

Simba have parted company with Ghanaian player Augustine Okra after one season at the club.

Via the club’s official verified Instagram page on Monday afternoon, the club has insisted that Okra will not be part of their brigade next season.

He is therefore the first player to be publicly paved farewell ahead of the upcoming action packed campaign.

One of his best moment at Simba was when he scored a leading goal in a traditional derby match against Young Africans after receiving a neat pass from Clatous Chama.

The game elapsed 1-1 as Stephanie Aziz Ki balanced the equation through a powerful free kick that exposed Simba’s goalkeeper Aishi Maula.

However, the Reds have since announced to make several adjustments to their team in order to make it competitive in the 2023/24 season.

A strong squad will help them to do well in the approaching CAF Super League clashes and in domestic competitions.
