Simba SC bounce back, thrash Kagera Sugar 3-0

DAR ES SALAAM: Simba have moved to the third place on the premier league table after punishing Kagera Sugar 3-0.

Saidi Ntibazonkiza, Sadio Kanoute and substitute John Bocco have all scored at Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam on Friday afternoon.

It was the first league match on Tanzania soil for coach Abdelhak Benchikha who has cherished a sweet triumph.

As it stands, the Reds have picked 22 points in nine matches, 6 points adrift current leaders Azam who have 28 points after 12 assignments.

For Kagera Sugar, they remain plastered on 12th slot with 13 points in the bag.

It is Kagera Sugar’s fifth defeat of the season.
