Simba Queens continue their winning streak
DAR ES SALAAM: SIMBA Queens kept up their winning streak at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam on Sunday after defeating Amani Queens 2-0 in Women’s Premier League to record their 13th straight victory.
After winning 13 games and drawing one, Simba Queens maintain their lead in the Women League with 40 points from 14 games. Amani Queens, with 14 points from 14 games, are ranked sixth.
JKT Queens, who are ranked second on the table with 31 points from 14 games, are a strong rival of Simba Queens. They defeated Alliance Girls 3-0 in their match yesterday at CCM Kirumba in Mwanza yesterday. JKT Queens have more goals than any other team in the league.

The team trailing the two teams closely is Ceasiaa Queens, who are third with 26 points from 14 games.
Yanga Princess, are in fourth place with 24 points from 13 games and third in goal total, having scored 19 goals since the league’s beginning. At Samora Stadium in Iringa yesterday, Ceasiaa Queens defeated Yanga Princess 2-1.
