SIMBA’S Board of Directors has appointed members of Ethics and Disciplinary Committee members in accordance with Article 33(5) and 37 with a call to begin executing their responsibilities with immediate effect.
The Ethics Committee is led by Charles Kenyela (Chairman), Advocate Anna Marealle (Vice Chairman), Saleh Pamba (member), Jaspar Monyo (member) and Saleh Mwachaka (member).
On the other hand, the Disciplinary Committee is chaired by Suleiman Kova, Advocate Samson Mbamba (Vice Chairman), Mohammed Ally (member), Hassan Hassannoo (member) and Peter Mwita (member).
Meanwhile, the club’s Media and Communication Officer Ahmed Ally said all necessary precautions have been considered ahead of their 15th round match of the campaign against Coastal Union at Mkwakwani Stadium in Tanga tomorrow.
The two teams meet for the first time this season in a tense duel as each is keen to bag in maximum points to keep stepping up the league ladders as the marathon towards the ending line escalates.
Simba caretaker coach Juma Mgunda will be facing his former club for the first time in the contest while at the other side of the coin which signifies how tough the match is set to be.
“We are aware that it is going to be a very competitive match due to the fact that we are facing a good side which plays good football mainly when playing at their turf but, we are well prepared for that.
“Our format now is to create a consistence of winning league matches so as to ascend at the top of the table where we deserve to be,” said Ally while calling more Simba fans to throng the venue.
He added that another encouraging thing to the squad is the recovery of most of players who have increased morale in the camp as each player is looking forward to perform well on the day and help them grab vital points.
“We are coming from recording an important away win over Polisi Tanzania and we need to replicate the same performance to upset Coastal Union…it will be disappointing if we either stamp a draw or defeat because that will be dragging us backwards in the race of the championship,” he said.
For Coastal Union, in their past game, they suffered a 1-0 shocking defeat to Dodoma Jiji at the same venue hence they still have a fresh wound ahead of the interface with Simba.
