Simba, Mo Assurance sign deal to safeguard players’ health

Simba have secured a four-year health insurance package from Mo Assurance worth 250m/- annually set to cater for players, technical bench members, staff and their respective families.

The club’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Barbara Gonzalez, speaking at a press briefing in Dar es Salaam on Friday afternoon says the deal is going to play a pivotal role to improve health well-being of people at the club.

“Mo Assurance are now the official Insurance Partner of Simba. They have also included a special package to cover sports related injuries,” says Gonzalez.

She adds: “They will also be catering for in-patient, out-patient, dental, optical, maternity as well as funeral benefits.”

On his part, Mo Assurance Chief Executive Officer, Gregory Fortes insists that the benefit will extend to Simba Queens players and its technical bench.

“We want to ensure that players concentrate on scoring goals other than thinking about health problems in their families,” he says.

Fortes also thanks Simba for accepting them as their Insurance Partner and that they are happy to work with a big club of Simba caliber.
