Che Malone Fondoh’s header broke the deadlock in the 13th minute, converting a precise cross from Jean Ahoua into a brilliant goal.

The KMC Stadium erupted with cheers as Simba fans celebrated the opening strike. Despite the setback, Tabora United tightened their defence, pulling players back to thwart Simba’s advances.

Their defensive reshuffle stifled Simba’s attacking momentum for the remainder of the first half, which ended with Simba holding a 1-0 lead. In the second half, Simba’s tactical shift paid off.

The team, now focused on longrange efforts, continued their assault on Tabora United’s defence. Valentino Mashaka doubled Simba’s lead in the 68th minute, heading home Mohamed Hussein’s cross with precision.

As the match drew to a close, Awesu Awesu sealed the victory with a stunning strike, curving the ball into the net to make it 3-0.

Singida Black Stars surge to second place with 3-1 Win over Ken Gold Singida Black Stars climbed to second place in the NBC Premier League after securing a 3-1 victory against newly promoted Ken Gold at Sokoine Stadium in Mbeya yesterday.

The win earned them crucial three points, putting them just behind table leader Simba, who top the standings on goal difference.

The match saw Emmanuel Kayeke open the scoring for Singida Black Stars with a stunning long-range shot from approximately 40 metres out in the 41st minute. The first half ended with Singida Black Stars leading 1-0.

In the 81st minute, Mohamed Damaro sealed the victory with a header from a Marouf Tchakei corner kick, completing the 3-1 score line.
