Simba coach Benchikha leaves for 5-day course

DAR ES SALAAM: Simba coach Abdelhak Benchikha has left the country Thursday for Algeria to undergo a five-day coaching course.

This has been confirmed by the club’s Media and Communication Manager Ahmed Ally.

He added that while in Algeria, Benchikha will miss two Premier League matches for Simba against Coastal Union (March 9th) and Singida Fountain Gate (March 12th).

Also, Ally says in his absentia, the team will be under his assistant coaches Farid Zemiti and Selemani Matola.

“We expect him to be in full charge of the team during our game against Mashujaa on March 15th,” Ally says.

Simba, who lost 2-1 to Tanzania Prisons at Jamhuri Stadium in Morogoro on Wednesday, remain on third place with 36 points after 16 games.
