SIMBA-AWESU SAGA: TFF issues directives
DAR ES SALAAM: Simba SC have been urged to follow right procedures to acquire the signature of KMC captain, Awesu Awesu.
This has been revealed by the Legal and Players Status Committee of the Tanzania Football Federation Cup through their statement released on Wednesday.
The decision has come after the committee found that proper procedures were not followed by Simba SC to sign the midfielder who was recently introduced by the Reds as their own ahead of the next season.

However, this compelled KMC to file a case at TFF against Simba for introducing the player without going through the necessary channel.
“The committee heard from both parties of the case (KMC and Simba) and agreed that Awesu is a legal player of KMC and if Simba wants him, they should officially talk with his club (KMC),” reads part of the statement.
Meanwhile, one day remain before the closure of the transfer window for the Premier League, Championship League, First League and the Tanzania Women’s Premier League set to shut down on Thursday.
