SGA security takes customer appreciation and health outreach across Tanzania

DAR ES SALAAM: SGA Security has stepped up its commitment to customer satisfaction and community wellbeing through a series of activities held throughout October, combining Customer Service Week celebrations with Pink October health outreach and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives across its branch network in Tanzania.
As part of the health campaign, SGA Security collaborated with healthcare institutions across five regions to facilitate free health screening activities for local communities. The campaign commenced on October 9 in Dar es Salaam at Tanganyika Packers, near Kawe Market, in collaboration with Kawe Dispensary. It subsequently extended to Kabwe Stand in Mbeya, Mnada Mpya in Dodoma, Tengeru Market in Arusha and Samaki Market in Mwanza, through partnerships with Meta Hospital, Dodoma General Hospital, Levolosi Hospital and Bugando Hospital, respectively. The activities provided community members with access to health screening services while promoting preventive healthcare and encouraging people to pay greater attention to their health.
In addition to the health screening activities, SGA Security also supported blood donation initiatives at all five locations as part of its commitment to community wellbeing. The donations aimed to help address blood shortages in healthcare facilities and support patients requiring blood transfusions for various medical needs, including those undergoing cancer treatment and women requiring blood during childbirth. The initiative highlighted the importance of voluntary blood donation in helping save lives.
Alongside the health initiatives, SGA Security marked Customer Service Week by visiting key customers at their offices to express appreciation for their continued trust and partnership. The visits featured cake-cutting celebrations and personal engagements, providing an opportunity to strengthen relationships with customers and recognize their contribution to the company’s continued growth.
Speaking on the initiatives, the Acting Managing Director of SGA Security, Mr. Jonathan Geleta, said that customer satisfaction and community wellbeing remain important priorities for the company.
“Our customers are an important part of our success, and the wellbeing of the communities we serve remains a priority. Through these initiatives, we are strengthening our relationships with customers while contributing to the health and welfare of communities across the country,” said Mr. Geleta.
With more than 42 years of experience in Tanzania, SGA Security provides a broad range of security solutions, including guarding, cash-in-transit, emergency response and electronic security systems.
