SGA cash in transit named best courier and delivery company of the year at the SML AWARDS 2026

SGA Cash in Transit Tanzania has been named Best Courier & Delivery Company of the Year at the Supply Chain, Mobility & Logistics (SML) Awards 2026.
The award recognises excellence, reliability and service quality in the courier industry highlighting SGA’s commitment to the safe, secure and timely movement of cash and valuables for clients across Tanzania.
SGA Security Tanzania Acting Managing Director, CPA Jonathan Geleta, said that the win was both an affirmation and a challenge. “This recognition reflects the standards we have built our business on, but it also raises the bar. Our clients expect more from us each year, and we will keep investing in our people, processes and technology to meet that expectation across Tanzania,” he said.
Speaking during the ceremony, Head of Courier Services, Ms. Stella Chiwango, said that the recognition reflected the commitment of the teams responsible for ensuring reliable courier services.
“Courier services are about keeping promises: delivering the right item to the right person at the right time. This award recognises the discipline and commitment of our couriers and dispatch teams and motivates us to continue improving the service we provide to our customers,” she said.
Head of Cash in Transit Services, Mr Rashid Kawawa, said the recognition underscores the importance of operational discipline and safety in delivering secure logistics services.
“Behind every secure delivery is a team that plans carefully, follows established procedures and never compromises on safety. I am proud of our people and grateful to our clients for the confidence they place in us,” he said.
