While reading the charge, the Prosecutor, Nyamhanga Tissoro, explained that the first incident occurred on January 8th, 2025, at around 5:00 PM, when the accused bit Regina Thomas. The second incident occurred on January 9, 2025, at 6:01 PM, when he bit Mashaka Idd Daudi, who was trying to resolve the dispute.

The court relied on medical evidence from the victims, who were examined after being provided PF3 forms, as well as the defendant’s confessions he made during police questioning, and found him guilty of the offenses.

However, when given a chance to defend himself, the defendant stated that he committed the offense under the alcohol influence and that the second victim had interfered in a dispute that did not concern him.

After hearing both sides, Judge Kisoka sentenced the accused to three years in prison, stating that the sentence should serve as a lesson for individuals with similar behavior to that of Amos.
