Samia to kick-off BBT block farm projects today

PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan is expected to launch the first Block Farming project–the initiative under Building a Better Tomorrow Youth Initiative for Agribusiness Program (BBT-YIA) at Chinangali in Dodoma today.

The initiative organised by the Ministry of Agriculture is expected to increase employment for young people to three (3) million and increase the growth of the agricultural sector to 10 percent by 2030.

Under the program, each youth is given at least 10 acres of land.
