DAR ES SALAAM: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has revoked the appointment of Masasi District Commissioner Lauteri Kanoni, and named Rachel Kasanda as his replacement.
According to a recent statement issued by Chief Secretary, Ambassador Dr. Moses Kusiluka, the Head of State has also made several other appointments.
In the latest changes, Prof. Jafari Ramadhani Kideghesho has been appointed the Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of the Tanzania Wildlife Protection Fund(WFP).

CPA Ashraph Yusuph Abdulkarim has been named General Manager of the Kariakoo Markets Corporation.
Meanwhile, President Samia has reassigned two ambassadors to new postings. Ambassador Hamad Khamis Hamad will now serve as Tanzania’s envoy to Mozambique, whereas Ambassador Mobhare Matinyi has been posted to Sweden.
