Samia receives credentials of seven new ambassadors

President Samia Suluhu Hassan on Monday received letters of credentials from seven foreign ambassadors, who have been accredited to Tanzania during an event held at the Chamwino State House in Dodoma.

The envoys included the new Zambian High Commissioner to Tanzania, Mathew Jere and the Ambassador of Egypt in Tanzania, Sherif Abdelhamid Imam Ismai.

President Samia also received letters of credentials and held talks with the new USA High Commissioner to Tanzania, Mr Michael Battle and the Ambassador of Brazil, Mr Gustavo Martins Nogueira .

The Head of State also received letters of credentials and held talks with the new Vatican Ambassador to Tanzania, Archbishop Angelo Accattino , new Phillipines High Commissioner in Tanzania, Ms Marie Charlotte G. Tang and Ambassador of Romania ,Mr Dragos-Viorel -Radu Tigau.
