Ruto wants security to enhance Kenya’s Development

Kenyan President, Dr William Ruto wants the country to rise and face the challenge of securing the lives and property of its citizens if it is to fully develop.

Speaking at the National Police College, Embakasi ‘B’ Campus in Nairobi during the 49th General Service Unit (GSU) recruits passing-out parade the President said the country’s development and improvement of livelihood depends on security.

“A sense of safety and security is the foundation for the pursuit of all aspirations and the development of a truly free, open and democratic society,” Dr. Ruto said.

Equally, he promised to ensure that all Kenyans are safe, by increasing the number of officers in the police service.
