Ramadhani Brothers: Tanzanian Acrobatic Group Wins AGT Award

USA: The Ramadhani Brothers, a Tanzanian acrobatic duo comprising Fadhili Ramadhani and Ibrahim Jobu, emerged as the winners of the American Got Talent (AGT) Fantasy League World Champions, pocketing a total of 250,000 US dollars (approximately 636.2m/-).

The two brothers were announced as winners on Monday night after outshining nine other finalists—two of whom were competing on Howie’s team, while the rest were on the teams of judges Simon Cowell, Mel B, and Heidi Klum—for the coveted title.

Ibrahim expressed that winning the AGT Fantasy League was an overwhelmingly amazing feeling, considering their participation in various Got Talent competitions worldwide, where they reached every final but never secured victory.

However, the brothers also joyfully shared their thoughts on their Instagram account under the name “ramadhanibrothersofficial” earlier on Tuesday, stating that their journey had just begun.

“Finally, our journey really begins. We are proud to announce that we are the AGT Fantasy League world champions of Got Talent. We took on the best in the world and won. Congratulations to all the other finalists. What a great competition! You guys pushed us to be even better. Most of all, we want to thank our acrobatic coach, Mr. Winston Ruddle. We couldn’t have done this without you. Your creative direction and guidance pushed us to be the best. Howie Mandal, thank you for your mentorship. Heidi Klum, thank you for believing in us,” their joint account stated.

The hand and head-balancing brothers from Tanzania first appeared on AGT during season 18 in 2023, finishing in fifth place despite their thrilling acts. Heidi, their mentor, then drafted them to her Fantasy League team. However, after their performance in the qualifiers, Howie couldn’t resist using his Golden Buzzer to advance the brothers straight to the finale.

The Ramadhani brothers have participated in several global events and earned the nation’s honor for their head-to-head balance stunt on stage.

Their success story began in 2022 when they reached the final of Australia’s Got Talent and acquired a Golden Buzzer from Kate Richie.
