PURA czar reminds staff on organization’s core values

Petroleum Upstream Regulatory Authority (PURA) director general Engineer Charles Sangweni has urged regulator’s staff  to stick on core values for the organization to achieve its desired objectives.

PURA boss made the call at the opening of the training on corruption, HIV and non-communicable diseases conducted to PURA staff recently in Dar es Salaam.

“Core values are at the heart of all that we do. They define who we are, create our image, shape our attitude toward work and affect the way we render our services – to mention a few.

“We, therefore, cannot stomach behaviors that put our values on the line. We must be stern at observing them and holding them dearly” he remarked.

Eng Sangweni used the platform to expound on PURA core values abbreviated as PATII which stands for professionalism, accountability, transparency, innovation and integrity.
