PUMA commended on CSR implementation

ACTING Dar es Salaam Chief Sheikh Walid Alhad Kawambwa has commended Puma Energy Tanzania for effectively implementing the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policy in the Tanzanian communities.

According to Sheikh Kawambwa, the company’s focus on CSR implementation, though it is a business-oriented company, has made it attract new customers.

He made the remarks on Wednesday evening when Puma Energy Tanzania offered Iftar to Muslims in the city.

“Through its different business programmes the company has managed to bring Tanzanians together,” he stated.

On his part, Puma Energy Tanzania Chairman Dr Suleiman Majige said the board was also praying for the success of the company which is the property of Tanzanians.

“We want it to perform much better. I thank the management of the company for the job well done in bringing Tanzanians together through Iftar,” he said.

Dr Majige further asked the company’s management to be close to God during this Holy Month of Ramadan while asking God to bring more fortune.
