Prime Minister Kassim Majaliwa has hailed Young Africans playmaker Stephanie Aziz Ki for scoring the solitary goal against Club Africain which sent his side into the group stage of CAF Confederation Cup.
Addressing members of Parliament in Dodoma on Friday, Majaliwa says: “I want to thank Aziz Ki for netting the only away goal.
“Honorable speaker, doing well with our clubs (Simba and Yanga) does not only render us reputation but also makes our NBC Premier League to be among the best leagues in Africa with many followers.
“This is good for the development of football in our country and I wish them (Simba and Yanga) the best of luck in CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup respectively,” says Majaliwa.
Also, the Prime Minister has lauded the Ministry for Culture, Arts and Sports as well as Tanzania Football Federation (TFF) for their good works done to enhance sports in the country.
“Let me urge the Ministry for Culture, Arts and Sports to continue working together with other stakeholders for the sake of improving the welfare of our athletes than it is now,” says him.
