AS 106,955 form six students begin their final exams today (Tuesday), President Samia Suluhu Hassan takes to social media to wish them all the best.
The Head of State tweeted early Tuesday saying that the Government prepares the best educational environment for all students joining technical, secondary colleges and Universities.
“I believe you are well prepared for this important step in your educational journey, I pray that God grants you peace and good health to finish safely and successfully,” the President tweeted.
Additionally, the President proclaimed her faith in the young generation saying that the government is optimistic that the giants will perform.
The number of Form Six candidates sitting for Advance Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE) across the country has increased from 95, 955 registered last year to 106,955, an increase of 11.46 per cent.
According to the National Examinations Council of Tanzania (NECTA) Executive Secretary Dr Said Ally Mohamed out of the school candidates, 53,324 are boys and 43,590 are girls, estimated as 55 per cent and 45 per cent respectively.
