President Samia sacks DC, four district directors

 President Samia Suluhu Hassan has revoked appointments of five officials including Mbarali District Commissioner (DC), Reuben Mfune.

Apart from DC Mfune, others whose appointments have been revoked by the Head of State, effectively from 22 January, 2023 are four district executive directors.

A press statement issued by director of Presidential Communications, Zuhura Yunus revealed this on Tuesday, 24 January, 2023.

The statement mentioned District executive directors who have been sacked and their respective areas as Msongela Palela (Musoma, Mara), Michael Matomora (Iramba, Singida) and Lino Mwageni (Ushetu, Shinyanga).

Sunday Ndori who was serving as Ludewa District Executive director in Njombe region has also been sacked.
