President Samia Calls on Women to Break Barriers and Lead

DAR ES SALAAM: President Samia Suluhu Hassan has urged women across the country to take an active role in shaping the nation’s future by breaking barriers, participating in elections, and demonstrating their leadership potential.

Speaking during the 10th anniversary of the Women Leadership Programme, organized by the Association of Tanzania Employers, President Samia emphasized the importance of women supporting one another and taking on decision-making roles.

She stressed that true progress comes through determination and action, which are essential for driving the country toward its desired achievements.

Ms. Violet Mordichai, Board Member of Stanbic Bank Tanzania, receives a certificate from the Minister of State, Prime Minister’s Office – Labour, Youth, Employment, and Persons with Disabilities, Ridhiwani Kikwete, during the 10th Graduation Ceremony of the Female Future Program, organized by the Association of Tanzania Employers (ATE). This certificate recognizes Stanbic Bank Tanzania’s contribution to the success of the program and its efforts in empowering women to enhance their leadership skills and take on senior roles across various sectors.

On her part, Violet Mordichai, a board member at Stanbic Bank, highlighted various initiatives aimed at empowering women in business.

She encouraged women to take charge of their careers, emphasizing that leadership is not about waiting for opportunities but about creating them.
