Ihefu continue to struggle in finding Premier League rythm after succumbing to a heavy 3-1 loss to Mtibwa Sugar.
The duo squared off at Manungu Complex in Morogoro where hosting side Mtibwa Sugar came from a goal down to score thrice and claim maximum points.
Andrew Simchimba put Ihefu ahead in the 8th minute of the game using well a rebound from goalkeeper Farouk Shikalo.
However, in the 45th minute, Mtibwa Sugar responded through Ismail Mhesa before Issa Rashid and Nickson Kibabage increased the tally in 50th and 80th minute respectively.
It was the second win for the Morogoro side as they registered one victory and recorded a draw in their two opening league fixtures.
For Ihefu, they still remain winning-less in the contest with Head Coach Zuberi Katwila yet to get the remedy to cure his side’s poor start of the season.
The Mbarali based outfits are appearing in the top flight league for the second time in the club’s history and in the Championship, they were crowned champions before earning league promotion.
