KMC and JKT Tanzania have already tasted a bitter pill of the season after both sides suffered heavy 5-0 defeats from defending champions Young Africans in their previous matches.

Therefore, it is a good chance to denounce the heavy setback and put on a serious face to record convincing results, this aspect defines that today’s fixture between the two teams is electric.

Until now, KMC is 15th on the log with one point from two matches whereas JKT Tanzania occupy the 8th slot with three points produced after winning one game from two clashes.

For Tabora United who play Tanzania Prisons, it is also another hot match as each team eyes to record their first win of the season.

In their two matches, the Tabora region envoys have just picked one point to sit in 14th place on the table while the Mbeya-based outfits have also collected a point. Dodoma Jiji are targeting to register the second win of the season over Mtibwa Sugar who remain win-less as they yawn for their first maximum points.

The Tanzanian capital boys are glued to  the 7th place with 3 points while the visiting team occupies the 12th place with a point from  two encounters.

However, the league action continues on Sunday with two matches as newcomers Mashujaa take on Ihefu at Lake Tanganyika Stadium in Kigoma, one of the currently difficult venues for the visitors.

Also, Kagera Sugar host Geita Gold at Kaitaba Stadium in Kagera for yet another interesting match that many people will be watching.

On Wednesday, one match will be staged when holders Young Africans host Namungo at Azam Complex in Dar es Salaam where the latter’s trainer Cedric Kaze meets his former club.

A day later, Simba will face Coastal Union at Uhuru Stadium in the city before witnessing Azam host Singida Fountain Gate on the same day.

So far, only three teams Yanga, Simba, and Azam are the ones with a 100 per cent performance of the campaign after winning two opening games no wonder they claim the top three places on the table.
