DAR ES SALAAM, Ilala: Tanzania’s Precision Air has launched its ‘game-changing’ Whatsapp Ticket Booking Chatbot that offers passengers the option to book a direct flight service online through Whatsapp.
The new flight booking option will allow any customer with a Whastapp enabled mobile device to book both domestic and international flights right from the Meta app.
The new feature, which is currently available, was rolled out in Dar es Salaam on Wednesday, allowing customers to book their first trip at a discounted rate of 99,000/-. The airline said the promotion would be valid for travelers planning their safaris before Aug. 31, 2023.
It was not immediately disclosed whether the new service involves other third party firms, but the airline said it’s a “milestone worth celebrating”. The chartbot has been named Bwana Swala! (Mr. Swala).
