Polisi Tanzania cherish Zahera’s signing
POLISI Tanzania have called on their members and fans to provide full support to the team’s newly appointed Head Coach Mwinyi Zahera who takes charge of the Moshi based side.
A club’s statement signed by Head of Information and Communication Frank Lukwaro released on Friday morning said both parties have reached mutual agreement after long discussions.
Democratic Republic of Congo-born tactician, Zahera is not new to the country’s football industry as he established himself when he joined Young Africans in 2018.
He joined the Jangwani-based side while undergoing economic crisis and he managed to help them finish second in the Premier League.
However, his return to the Premier League is set to open another exciting chapter as he is known to be among the well-polished and competitive football trainers.
His first assignment at Polisi Tanzania is against Azam at Ushirika Stadium in Moshi on Monday as he takes charge of the team currently at the base of the table with 9 points from 14 games.
It has been a zigzag start of the season by Polisi Tanzania who are still searching for a winning remedy after managing only two wins in 14 encounters.
Polisi Tanzania is a side that has conceded the biggest number of goals after allowing 22 goals, one goal less than Mtibwa Sugar who have conceded 23.
In their previous match, Polisi Tanzania suffered a 3-1 home loss to Simba to continue dropping vital points in the league.
However, they face Azam who have maintained winning streak in their previous seven games and they look unstoppable at the moment.
