COASTAL REGION: THE Police Force in Dodoma region has nabbed a resident suspected to be involved in several crimes in Coast region after a hunt.
The videos circulating videos show the accused being forced into a car before he was brought to the Police stadium in Dodoma.
The accused known as Rajabu Hassan is accused to have committed several crimes at Maili Moja area, in the Coast region.
According to the statement, Rajabu is a long-time suspect who had been evading Police arrest he committed several criminal acts.
Authorities in Dodoma confirmed that Rajabu had been on the police’s radar for several allegations most notably involvement in robberies, alleging he used a motorcycle with altered registration plates, or at times, a motorcycle without registration plates, commonly known as “vishandu.”
During the incident in question, it was noted that the motorcyclist Rajabu used a motorcycle that didn’t have registered plate number.
When confronted by the police, Rajabu resisted the arrest thus forcing them to apply a little force.
However, he was eventually arrested and taken to Kibaha Police Station, where he will undergo further legal procedures.
