PM visits Vatican City during the global Conference on One Health, Food and Agriculture Systems

ROME: PRIME Minister Mwigulu Nchemba, on Thursday, September 24, 2026, visited Vatican City in Rome, Italy, on the sidelines of his participation in the International Conference on One Health and Food and Agriculture Systems.

The conference was held at the headquarters of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) in Rome.

During his visit to Vatican City, Dr Nchemba met with the Head of Protocol at the Secretariat of State of the Vatican, Monsignor Javier Domingo Fernández González.

The Prime Minister also visited various historical and cultural sites in Vatican City, which hold significant importance in the history of the Catholic Church and the world’s cultural heritage.

The visit took place as Dr Nchemba was in Rome to attend activities related to the International Conference on One Health and Food and Agriculture Systems.
