KILIMANJARO: PRIME Minister Kassim Majaliwa has inaugurated the Ndea entry and exit gate for tourists at Mkomazi National Park, located in Mwanga District, Kilimanjaro Region. The gate was cost 350m/-.
The inauguration took place today, March 25, 2025, as part of the government’s efforts to enhance the tourism sector and increase attractions for visitors in the country. This initiative aims to strengthen both domestic and international tourism to boost revenue and contribute to national economic growth.

Providing details about the gate, Mkomazi National Park’s Chief Conservator, Emmanuel Mwailama, stated that its construction is expected to increase the number of tourists visiting the park. Many visitors are drawn to the scenic beauty around Lake Jipe, as well as rare wildlife species such as black rhinos and elephants.
