PM launches phase 11 of business, investment improvement plan

DAR ES SALAAM: PRIME Minister, Kassim Majaliwa, has today, April 3, 2025, officially launched the preparations for the Second Phase of the Business and Investment Environment Improvement Plan.

This plan aims to attract both local and foreign investments, create more job opportunities, and enhance access to international markets for locally produced goods.

Officially known in Kiswahili as MKUMBI 11, the Phase 11 will promote competition and improve the quality of Tanzanian products, making them more competitive in the global market.

The launch of this initiative marks a significant step in the government’s efforts to enhance the business environment, attract investors, and drive sustainable national development.

The program is expected to facilitate increased investment, boost employment opportunities, and ensure Tanzanian products gain access to international markets while promoting competition and product quality improvement.

The launch has taken place at the Mlimani City Conference Hall in Dar es Salaam.
