PM graces the Institute of Adult Education’s forum to mark the Golden Jubilee

DAR ES SALAAM: PRIME Minister, Kassim Majaliwa, is expected to be the guest of honor today, October 25, 2025, at the climax of the 50th anniversary celebrations of the Institute of Adult Education.
The event is being held at the Julius Nyerere International Convention Centre (JNICC) in Dar es Salaam and has brought together various education stakeholders from both within and outside the country.

The main objective of this forum is to promote adult education as a catalyst for economic, social, and technological development in the country. It provides a platform for participants to exchange experiences, discuss research findings, and explore best practices that can foster innovation in the provision of adult education.
The forum is scheduled to run for three days, from August 25 to August 27, 2025. It is being attended by education experts, government leaders, scholars, and development partners. Participants are expected to deliberate on strategies to strengthen adult education as a means to advance national development.
The event is guided by the theme: “Lifelong Learning for Sustainable Development,” which underscores the importance of continuous learning for people of all ages in building a knowledge-driven society capable of addressing both current and future challenges.
