Physical commissioning of Russian nuclear power plant in China begins

RUSSIA: The Russian state nuclear corporation Rosatom has announced that the country’s nuclear power plant in China has entered the physical commissioning stage and the process of preparing for its operation has officially begun.

According to RIA Novosti, Alexei Likhachev, head of Rosatom, announced: The physical commissioning stage of the seventh power unit of the Tianwan nuclear power plant in China, which was built with Russian participation, is scheduled for May and everything is going according to plan.

The Russian official stated: New consultations between the Russian delegations and the International Atomic Energy Agency on this issue are expected to be held in Russia in the first half of July.

Rosatom is one of the companies active in the field of power plant construction. The company is the builder of many nuclear power plants in the world, including in Eastern Europe, Latin America and Asia.
