Nyerere National Park readies to host the Youth Bush Talk, a transformative bootcamp

MOROGORO: NYERERE National Park has been picked to host this year’s Youth Bush Talk (Vijana Mbugani), a transformative youth bootcamp that combines nature, mentorship and real-life skill development.

Organised by Peak & Plain Adventure, the three-day event is set to kick-off from May 22 to 24 and is specifically designed to help young people disconnect from daily distractions, reconnect with their purpose and gain practical knowledge through immersive learning in a natural environment.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam today, May 7, 2026, Peak & Plain Adventure Founder Mr Gasper Mfoi revealed that the event is open to all young people seeking personal growth, direction and exposure.

“It is mainly targeting young people who are ready to invest in themselves, learn from mentors, build networks and step out of their comfort zones.

“Many activities will unfold to make the event memorable including game drives and nature-based learning, mentorship and talk sessions, self-discovery workshops, team building challenges, bonfire reflection sessions as well as mindset and personal development exercises,” he said.

According to him, the immediate impacts of the program will see participants having a clear sense of purpose and direction, improved confidence and self-awareness, better financial and business understanding, stronger decision making and leadership skills plus networking with like-minded, growth-driven peers

On why they selected Nyerere National Park to accommodate the bootcamp, Mr Mfoi clarified that the park provides a unique and powerful environment

that enhances reflection, learning, and personal growth.
