Nkinda re-elected deputy mayor for Moshi

MOSHI Municipal Council Deputy Mayor Stuart Nkinda has been re-elected to his position during the council’s recent ordinary session

KILIMANJARO: MOSHI Municipal Council (MMC) Deputy Mayor Stuart Nkinda has been re-elected to his position during the council’s recent ordinary session held in Moshi.

During the election, Mr Nkinda received all 24 votes cast, winning unopposed.

In his thanksgiving remarks, Mr Nkinda promised to continue cooperating with MMC’s Lordship Mayor Zuberi Kidumo, his fellow councillors and the management team of the Moshi Municipality led by MMC Director, Ms Mwajuma Nasombe, for the benefit of all citizens of Moshi District.

Moshi District Commissioner James Kaji commended the council’s leadership for their cooperation and contributions to the development of Moshi District.

“The achievements are many, satisfactory and tangible. It is our responsibility to explain them to the people so that they understand the good work done by the sixth phase government under the leadership of President Samia Suluhu Hassan,” he said.

Mayor Kidumo encouraged citizens to verify their names in the permanent voter register in order to participate in the upcoming local and general elections.
