Nine arrested for possessing illicit narcotics

NINE people allegedly possessing 34.89kg of heroin have been arrested in Dar es Salaam, the Drug Control and Enforcement Commission (DCEC) announced on Tuesday morning.

A list of suspects include Simba SC goalkeeper trainer Mwarami Mohamed (40) and owner of Cambiasso Sports Academy, Alhaji Kambi Zubeir Seif.

Another one is Maulid Mohamed Mzungu ‘Mbonde’ (54) resident of Kamegele Kisemvulee
