Ngorongoro spellbinds French-Canadian honeymoon

NGORONGORO: A newlywed couple, Sebastien and Pauline, have fulfilled their longtime dream by picking Tanzania for their honeymoon.

The couple who always desired to go on a safari in Tanzania killed two birds with one stone by turning the trip into both a tour of the country and a honeymoon to celebrate their two-month-old marriage.

The love birds, Sébastien, who is Canadian, and Pauline, who is French, stated that picking Tanzania was worthwhile, while calling the country the best place in the world to have a honeymoon.

“We are here for our honeymoon. We have been married for two months, and our biggest dream was to do a safari in Tanzania. This is our honeymoon. Honestly, the best place in the world to have a honeymoon. Everybody is so kind, everybody is happy, everybody has a smile on their face,” the couple said.

They added, “The kids are around saying jumbo to the car, it’s really heartwarming, and it’s love. You’ve got love everywhere in Tanzania. So when I said the best place for a honeymoon is that, and with that you got of course, the animals,”

Sebastian, who said that he happens to be wildlife photographer for about 15 years, was amazed at the sight of the Big 5 animals found in Tanzania.

“So I’ve been a wildlife photographer for maybe 15 years just as a hobby but like she said, it’s a really big dream for us to come here to see the big fives, the big animals. The fourth day now, and we already did how Africa life? We met Maasai, we danced, we danced with the Maasai,” he said.

While in the country, the newlywed visited Toowoombo,  bought a beautiful painting, and took a lot of beautiful memories to go home with.
